Animals in fiction are honestly the most adorable addition to any sort of book, be it romance, crime or even a thriller and in any genre. They provide the adorkable-ness that sometimes makes a book better just by being a part of it.
And I absolutely LOVE animals in romance genre – they are the hilarious addition to any sort of romance, especially when it is quite well written!
Thomas is a prodigy and businessman at a very young age, and one who has suffered quite the betrayal! He is thoughtful, yet reticent and has an innate charm that will always leave you with a smile on your lips without your even realizing it!
Tessa, on the other hand, is a psych major who has serious relationship issues – those issues being that she becomes an unintended “therapist” for the guys she falls for. And she has decided no more – for how can she take any more of this heartbreak?
Thomas and Tessa meet when there is a call for rescue of an Alley Cat and her kittens! The attraction between them instant and so is the decision to have a mutually fulfilling “relationship” as well.
I really liked reading this book – it is light, fun reading and the animal shelter makes a beautiful addition to it. Both Thomas and Tessa have some serious issues to work through, making this attraction and relationship happening between them to be one of those “wrong place, right person” situations!
This is a read that you want to get into when you aren’t sure what you what your preference should be – the cute romance or the angsty read – but you definitely will get a combination of both here!
While the attraction and the chemistry between Thomas and Tessa fell a little flat for me, it was nevertheless an enjoyable read that is pretty much an engrossing read!

Pick a copy of this book especially if you are in a mood for a furry read – because that addition itself is worth a read ❤
