What if forever was never meant to be?

Kara Thorn had always been the confident one until the fateful day her heart was shattered. She lost the one person she thought would never walk away….

Devon McGraw, the man who had promised her forever.

When Kara returns to her hometown for a wedding, fate intervenes throwing her and Devon together once again. Their chemistry is stronger than ever before, but Devon is not the same guy that Kara fell in love with. The man he’d become had a past, and it was complicated.

He wanted a week, but Kara wants forever.

Will Kara forgive Devon’s past or will her own ruin any chance of her finding forever?

Review

I am on a roll with angst filled second chance romances and Finding Forever is the latest addition to that exact list 😀

Kara has been deeply in love with her boyfriend Devon and had never ever believed that they would be anything except together! So when an accident puts Devon in the hospital, Kara does everything, and I do mean, everything to get to his bedside and yet is dumped for no apparent reason – she is heartbroken.

Now that she has to go back to her hometown for a wedding, she has absolutely no intentions of crossing Devon’s path for while she has survived this heartbreak another would definitely kill her.

Devon on the other hand, made a mistake, a mistake that cost him the love of his life and yet he will never regret that mistake. For that gave him his son 🙂

This is one angst ridden book, a book that left a physical ache inside that part of my chest that left me with trouble breathing.

The hurt between Kara and Devon felt so physical that I needed to at least put the book aside to get my emotions in order. I loved their interactions, their emotions and their relationship – it was the single most beautiful thing about the book!

While I would have liked it even more if they both had learnt from their earlier experiences that communication is the single most important part of any relationship, but I do get that past hurts can sometimes blind one to their faults.

This is a book that I will someday visit back soon, especially if I am in need of a book that rips out my heart and leaves with me physical ache albeit a good one ❤
