Welcome to my stop on the tour for Stormbringer. This is the sequel to Liesmith so there might be a few spoilers (although I will try really hard to generic when writing this review but I can’t exactly promise!) so make sure you have read the first book before reading this one!

I have to be very honest – when I joined up on this tour – I didn’t even realise that this is the second book in a series. I just thought the blurb sounded cool and I honestly have been in a need for Norse Mythology fix – mostly cause I have read some awesome Norse Mythology related books and I can’t wait to read more!
Another honest confession – I have a habit of reading books very close to their release date or Blog Tour dates, so by the time I realised that is the second book – I did not have the time to actually get the first book and read it before reading this one *shameful face* so I soldered on to reading this book.
And I have to say I wasn’t disappointed.
It took me a while (okay, a lot of time) for me to understand what exactly is happening.
From what I gathered – Sigmund and Lain are in a relatively new relationship, a relationship that is sorta of complicated with the fact that they both are hosting Norse Gods/Godesses – not exactly conducive to a healthy relationship or even a fun one to be very honest!
But it is the skill of Franklin, that absolutely makes this a fantastic read. Even to a newcomer like me (who hasn’t read Liesmith – I am so so sorry for that Ms. Franklin!) – this world that she created was engaging and sometimes even addictive.
I absolutely loved the interactions between characters, especially the explosion of geekiness that was the foundation of this – my geeky heart was oh so happy! ❤
Considering the fact that I have given this book 4 Stars actually shows how brilliant this book is without even reading the first book! So I will definitely be revisiting this book after I have read the first book. I have a feeling the ratings might definitely increase then 😉

If you love Urban Fantasy with a hint of geekiness and amazing writing – Pick this one up. But I suggest (and I can’t stress this enough) you pick up the first book before you get your hands on this one! Either ways, you will not go wrong with your choice!
