In Brooke Burroughs’s endearing debut novel set in vibrant India, enemies turned allies encounter obstacles in an unexpected multicultural romance only to discover that in the end, love is love.
Emma has always lived her life according to a plan. But after turning down her boyfriend’s proposal, everything starts to crumble. In an effort to save the one thing she cares about—her job—she must recruit her colleague, Rishi, to be on her development team…only she may or may not have received the position he was promised. (She did.)
Rishi cannot believe that he got passed over for promotion. To make matters worse, not only does his job require him to return home to Bangalore with his nemesis, Emma, but his parents now expect him to choose a bride and get married. So, when Emma makes him an offer—join her team, and she’ll write an algorithm to find him the perfect bride—he reluctantly accepts.
Neither of them expect her marriage code to work so well—or to fall for one another—which leads Emma and Rishi to wonder if leaving fate up to formulas is really an equation for lasting love.
We are 6 months into 2021 – and I still can’t believe this unbelievably traumatising year has actually been flying away like it’s on space travel and needs to reach another inhabitable planet to save the freaking human race!
But on the bright side; I have been actually getting through the previous months anticipated reads – slowly but surely, what is not helping the whole new list of books cropping up and me adding them to my reading TBR *grins*
As always, this is not the total list of all the books being released in this particular month; these are the books that I am looking forward in this month – and maybe just maybe update, the list with my review links at the end of the month, so that ya’ll can access to the reviews without any issues (I know.. I know! I have a whole lot of reviews to be updated, and I will be doing that, hopefully soon!)

How is it already freaking June in 2021 and we all know that it hasn’t been most easy of the times the last few months. We have struggled, fought and lost so much and the fight, no matter what the numbers say, isn’t over yet.
I know, many of you have not been much for reading; an to be honest while I have been reading, the enjoyment I once had; hasn’t been there even

Its my birthday month – and I honestly am not exactly excited for it – and lo, and behold, it’s not even because I am turning the BIG 3 – 0!
It’s mostly because the world has completely turned around and I can’t even begin to even smile or hope – and with news always being almost apocalyptic, it’s only thing I can do is try and make do with a little bit of normalcy, no matter where I can get it.
And while I may not be interested in much; Reading, or rather talking about reading (like we cool bloggers/bookstagrammers do) is something that will always give me a sense of peace and contentment – so without further ado; here’s my MOST ANTICIPATED READS of MAY 2021 *winks*.

As the age of the photograph dawns in Victorian Bath, silhouette artist Agnes is struggling to keep her business afloat. Still recovering from a serious illness herself, making enough money to support her elderly mother and her orphaned nephew Cedric has never been easy, but then one of her clients is murdered shortly after sitting for Agnes, and then another, and another… Why is the killer seemingly targeting her business?
Desperately seeking an answer, Agnes approaches Pearl, a child spirit medium lodging in Bath with her older half-sister and her ailing father, hoping that if Pearl can make contact with those who died, they might reveal who killed them.
But Agnes and Pearl quickly discover that instead they may have opened the door to something that they can never put back…
Oh dear Lord.. I have no idea whatsoever where the time is flying this year. It could have been because March, honestly was the busiest month of the year for me.. till now. Really hoping that the trend doesn’t continue in the month of April or even the coming months – I cannot and will not be able to handle this gruelling phase *teary eyed*
Which means that audiobooks became my best friend this past month and I have a strong suspicion that my ever growing pile of immediate TBR is actually planning on murdering me; not that it would ever stop me from adding more to that pile, with today’s list of my Most Anticipated Reads of April 2021 *winks*.

2021 already has two months gone by? I blinked and here we are with March already upon us! I am not gonna lie, I actually had a gruelling first two months of 2021 – buying a new house, getting things ready for a housewarming puja (a religious event for a healthy and prosperous new home) *gasps*
And now; while I have yet to even make a dent in the books I really wanted to read in the last two months, that’s still not gonna stop me from posting about books I am looking forward to reading in March 2021 *winks*.

Everyone has a breaking point
The racetrack has been my home since I was fifteen. When I’m behind the wheel, it’s just me and the asphalt.
No stress. No worry.
No one trying to convince me I’m not worthy of my dream.
I laugh when people tell me how dangerous racing is. If they only knew my relationship was the bigger threat. The longer I stay with Daniel, the more unstable my life becomes. I’m caught between happy memories of the sweet boy I fell in love with a lifetime ago and the harsh realization that he may be gone forever.
He’s taken a lot from me over the years, and I’m not sure how much I have left to give. I can only pretend to be in a loving relationship for so long. Racing is the one thing that keeps me going.
Jackson Powell turned my dream into a reality when he signed me as a driver for Powell Racing. He understands me, he encourages me, and he helps me stand on my own. Now, Daniel is trying to take that from me too. The more he pushes me, the closer I get to my breaking point. If he succeeds, I’m uncertain I’ll be strong enough to put myself back together again.
~
When I signed Sawyer Stone to my racing team, I didn’t realize what I was getting myself into. She’s extremely talented, but she holds a secret that could ruin her career before it has a chance to start.
She affects me in a way I haven’t experienced in years. I need to know why she’s so guarded. What is she hiding that keeps her from letting anyone in? If I were a betting man, I would put money on her boyfriend being at the root of it all.
I didn’t like him the moment I met him. How can I make her see he’s no good for her or her career? Why is she with him? What hold does he have over her?
I’ll do anything in my power to keep her safe from him.His money and influence will make it tough, but I have those things too. I don’t care what it takes, I’ll do it and prove to her that she’s worth the fight.
