What a Fabulous March It Would Be <3 | Anticipated Reads of March 2021

2021 already has two months gone by? I blinked and here we are with March already upon us! I am not gonna lie, I actually had a gruelling first two months of 2021 – buying a new house, getting things ready for a housewarming puja (a religious event for a healthy and prosperous new home) *gasps*

And now; while I have yet to even make a dent in the books I really wanted to read in the last two months, that’s still not gonna stop me from posting about books I am looking forward to reading in March 2021 *winks*.

As always, this is not the total list of all the books being released in this particular month; these are the books that I am looking forward in this month – and maybe just maybe update, the list with my review links at the end of the month, so that ya’ll can access to the reviews without any issues!

If you would like to, you can also check out January 2021 and February 2021 Anticipated Reads as well.

No one writes beautiful heartbreaking South Asian own voices experiences like Nadia Hashmi can – and Sparks Like Stars promises to give its readers EXACTLY that, a poignant, perilous journey of a young girl and her desire to excavate the truth, no matter what! I have a feeling I am gonna need a whole box of tissues to get through this one; maybe even more.

AMERICAN BETIYA BY ANURADHA D. RAJURKAR

You would have to be living under an actual rock not to have known about this coming of age novel about a young woman grappling with being pulled in two different directions; between her family and their traditions; and the boy, her first love, one that she knows that her family wouldn’t approve of. A novel that many from the South East Asian countries would definitely relate to.
