This is the second book in Triggerman Inc. series – and my first foray into this world – which is why I would recommend reading the first book “Contract Signed” first. The overarching arc and suspense of the plot starts in the first book; and ends in the 3rd book – even though each book focuses on a different couple.

Secrets Unsealed is Deacon and Solene’s romance; two independent; strong and resilient individuals with their own traumatic pasts that has made them into two distinct indivdiuals – wherein Deacon, an assassin for hire; is the charming, flirtatious one whereas Solene, a world renowned supermodel turned businesswoman is the icy female who has absolutely no time nor trust for the charming men of the world like Deacon.

Still, neither can deny the off the charts chemistry and attraction between them; but it is an attraction that both of them are afraid of – because they know that it can be something more than just physical attraction. Their interaction is also something enjoyable – its fun, sassy and utterly charming!

The suspenseful plot also makes for a wonderful background to the romance – I couldn’t wait to find out exactly who is the big bad wolf in the scenario – I do wish though there was as much interaction between the baby girl “Little Dee” and Deacon as there was between Hammer (whose HEA I will be keeping an eye on!) and Little Dee!
