Two Enemies; Brought Together by a Tragedy | Blog Tour – Review: Keep It Classy (Bear Bottoms Guardians MC #7) by Lani Lynn Vale

Ghosts are real.

Well, technically speaking, maybe not. But the ones that haunt a man’s soul? Those are very real. So real, in fact, that there are times when Castiel would rather silence them forever in the worst way possible than to go on living with them haunting his every step.

All it took was one single second in time for his attention to drift, and everything changed.

Life as he once knew it, is over.

Now he’s struggling to make sense of the pieces that are left, and he’s fairly sure at least half of them are missing.

He’s living for three things now.

His club—the Bear Bottom Guardians.

His work as a police officer for Bear Bottom Police Department.

And the occasional glimpse of a girl that makes his spirit feel free.

Despite the ghosts that haunt him, he’s not willing to present them with another target. Which is why he has to stay away from her. He can’t touch her. He can’t talk to her. He can’t get anywhere near her.

Not and live with himself afterward.

The only problem is, Turner doesn’t care what Castiel wants. She also has a solution for his ghosts.

You may call her Ms. Ghostbuster.

Keep It Classy is an emotional romance from Lani Lynn Vale – full of humor, banter, and yet some of the most emotional moments, I have ever had the pleasure of reading from Ms. Vale.

Turner and Castiel did not get off on the best foot with each other – they get on each other’s nerves, every single time they cross each other’s paths and it doesn’t help that their assumptions about each other are colored by their own past experiences.

While a small part of their consciousness knows that all this irritation is not without reason – majorly because they are also physically attracted to each other, it just gives all the more foundation to the fact they get vexed with each other.

Turner, though been brought up with privilege, has also worked hard to overcome her problems; and now makes absolutely no apologies for who and what she is now; no matter who believes what. Castiel, on the other hand, has such a painful past that when I found out about; I honestly wanted to cuddle him right up!

When tragedy strikes to Turner; it surprises them the most that it is Castiel who ends up being the rock and support system for Turner. And it becomes inevitable that they turn to each other for comfort as well and without realizing it, slide right into an emotional connection.

This was another enjoyable read; a little more emotional than I had expected, but it is understandable if you read dedication that the author made; and she has done a wonderful job of writing a delightful book that tugs at the reader’s heartstrings throughout.
