Blog Tour – Review: Can’t Text This by Teagan Hunter

Today we are celebrating the release of a standalone, contemporary romance title from Teagan Hunter. Can’t Text This just went live, and it is available to read for FREE in KindleUnlimited.  Check out my review for the book on the blog today

“Hi Monty. Wanna see my python?”

That’s how I ended up in the bathroom of some dive bar with a stranger.

Me, Monty Andrews, the quintessential virgin girl next door.

I was so out of my element, but there was no denying our explosive attraction, even via text.

Commence Operation Bang Each Other Out of Our Systems, because that was all it was—unfinished business.

I had no intention of falling back into the sheets with the tattooed, muscly, dirty-in-the-best-kind-of-way single dad over and over again…but I did.

Everything was going great—until we discovered I was his son’s teacher.

This was my first book from Ms. Hunter – and I have to say I am surprised that I haven’t actually picked her books before this on – a fact that will be remedied soon.

Can’t Text This is an opposite attracts romance with a whole lot of fun interactions and some very sexy times between two independently strong individuals who fit together like pieces of a puzzle.

Montana Harris aka Monty is a straight laced, curs – shy and a little vulnerable school teacher who is trying to leave her “yes” persona behind – which means that she jumps straight into the deep end of the pool by propositioning a guy who couldn’t have been her type at all.

Robbie, on the other hand, is a single dad, with a muscled body full of tattooes who doesn’t have one conversation without cursing – but he has a heart full of love, patience and loyalty; something that is easy to see when he is with his son, Xavier.

Monty and Robbie were easy people to like – they are both good at heart, simple people navigating life the best way they can – the fact that they found themselves to be attracted to each other baffles them but that doesn’t mean they aren’t willing to give this insane attraction between a try.

At least some of the book is written text form (well, duh!) – but somehow that just adds to the charm of the book and the relationship between Monty and Robbie.

The big reveal though came a lot later in the book than I had expected & tbh, I liked that there wasn’t any undue drama (I really hate unnecessary drama in romances) – just a little bit of logic warring with feelings; and a whole lot of good times.

Can’t Text This is the kind of rom – com that I live for – easily enjoyable with smexy and fun times that make me lose sense of reality in the best way possible!
