This is the second book in the Lustful Lords Series – but can definitely be read as standalone; even if there were characters overlapping from somewhat connected series!!
I absolutely adore historical romances – but this is the first time I have read a Historical Romance with elements of BDSM (which I honestly did not know until I actually started the book!) – But one that I actually ended up loving.
Emily and Cooper are two people with misconceptions about each other; but it was hilarious to watch them fumble around when those misconceptions were shot to hell one by one. Cooper is the typical Lord of Manor – arrogant with a sense of entitlement, and a belief that he could compartmentalize his life to make it easier.
Emily, on the other hand, is a headstrong, intelligent women who does her best to manipulate the shackles of society to live life by her own terms!
There are a whole lot of secondary characters that make this couple’s journey to HEA worth a few laughs, tears and joy! The plot focuses a whole lot more on the couple than it does on any deep story arc; but that in no way detract from my enjoyment of the book!
Taming His Hellion is a decadent, promiscuous and engaging romance that has given me a combination I never actually thought I would enjoy it!
