Most know Androma Racella as the Bloody Baroness, a powerful mercenary whose reign of terror stretches across the Mirabel Galaxy. To those aboard her glass starship, Marauder, however, she’s just Andi, their friend and fearless leader.
But when a routine mission goes awry, the Marauder‘s all-girl crew is tested as they find themselves in a treacherous situation and at the mercy of a sadistic bounty hunter from Andi’s past.
Meanwhile, across the galaxy, a ruthless ruler waits in the shadows of the planet Xen Ptera, biding her time to exact revenge for the destruction of her people. The pieces of her deadly plan are about to fall into place, unleashing a plot that will tear Mirabel in two.
Andi and her crew embark on a dangerous, soul-testing journey that could restore order to their shipor just as easily start a war that will devour worlds. As the Marauder hurtles toward the unknown, and Mirabel hangs in the balance, the only certainty is that in a galaxy run on lies and illusion, no one can be trusted.

It’s been ages since I ever got lost in a sci-fi book and ZENITH was the perfect book to get me off that slump!
Zenith follows the adventures of Androma Racella @ Bloody Baroness and her team of space pirates, an all-female kick-ass crew, but their run of adventure is just about to come a grinding halt when Andi’s past comes for her with a vengeance; spinning them right into the path of something that becomes a whole lot bigger than any of these girls could have ever imagined!
The plot of the book was fantastically built – there are multiple POVs (YAYAYAYAY!!) and it gives a wholistic view that trust me ends in an EXPLOSIVE ENDING that you might have predicted but never expected.
The plot of the story does slow down a bit; but I actually expected it, since this was the first book in the series; and this book needed to lay down the foundation for the series yet it gives the reader the full opportunity to understand the past of Andi but also that of her crew, her family!
THE ENDING THOUGH OBLITERATED ME – I mean, yes I was expecting some of it, but not ALL of it; and the last few pages; i.e. a couple of chapters pretty much had me gasping for breath with the revelations and twists that just didn’t stop – and I WANT THE NEXT BOOK. STAT!
All in all, this was a dazzling start to an amazing series with characters who end up not only brave but also quite cunning as well!
