I fell for the Blurb of this book. Honest.

It sounded absolutely spine-chilling; and boy was I ever right. The author doesn’t really mince her intention – she promised you a dark chilling read, and that’s exactly what she did. There was no sense of security, not even at the start of the book.

Oh no, she pretty much went all out right from the start – and I couldn’t even look away, not even for long enough to cook my husband his dinner; which the poor thing had to make for himself, because I just wasn’t ready to let go of this book.

I am really trying hard to review this book, without even giving the slightest of details, because I went in blind; and I KNOW FOR SURE, that if you don’t either, the story might not have the same impact as it did without knowing the slightest of details.

How much is your life worth?

I am keeping this review, therefore, purposefully short.

Just know that there is darkness, there is blood and gore, there is a bad-ass heroine who has been through so much yet doesn’t know what to do when life throws her a curve that she can’t get enough off!

This might not be as dark as some readers might be acquainted with, but this has twists and turns that you will never see coming.

In fact, this book is one that you would never see coming!
