She’s the daughter of a club traitor, trying to start over.
Daughter of the man that betrayed the Grim Bastards, Gidget Etheridge doesn’t want anything to do with the club.
She grew up being ignored by her father, but found solace in the arms of the boy she loved.
Everything changed the day he turned his back on her.
When she and her son are rescued by Smoke, she has to decide if the boy who broke her heart is worth a second chance.
He’s a bastard, living life by his own rules.
Vice President Smoke Roundtree grew up knowing he would be a Grim Bastard, just like his father and grandfather.
When he became a prospect, he made a choice between the club and the girl he loved.
Even all these years later, he still wonders if he made the right decision.
When he saves Gidget and her son, he finally has a chance to fix the mistakes of his past.
Can a bastard heal the heart he shattered thirteen years ago?
Disclaimer: This the 4th book in Grim Bastards Series but can read as standalone.
Nasty Bastard is a second chance romance with one dirty talking biker and a woman who has not been able to get over him.
Smoke Roundtree is the VP of Grim Bastards, and a man with one single regret – that he let the love of his life go without fighting for her and broke both their hearts in process. Years later, he will screw anything in his path, but his heart will always belong to the one who got away – believing that she is totally lost to him.
Gidget Etheridge grew up with the Grim Bastards MC, but doesn’t want anything to do with that life ever since the one boy she loved with everything in her broke her heart in ways that it never healed. Now a single divorced mother, she still doesn’t want that life, but being back home is the only option she has to make a life for her son, she will take it and have nothing to do with the man who broke her!
But when her father’s past puts in her and her son in the cross hairs, she has no choice but to accept help from a man who wanted nothing to do with her!!
I adore second chance romances – the depth of angst and feelings that a reader can find in such romances are rarely found in any other, and I LOVED Smoke and Gigi together – Smoke understood and definitely repented for his actions years before and it was absolutely clear that now that Gigi and her son are back in his lives, he would die before letting them go.
Gigi on the other hand, is understandably cautious considering the way he had dumped her and now even after knowing his reasons doesn’t mean that she is ready to jump back in his arms, even if the physical connection between them is too strong to resist!
There is a whole lot of twists and turns that are going on in this book, not to mention the previous books (which I still haven’t read really!) and they are absolutely brilliant to read about; not to mention the way Smoke connected with Gigi’s son, but it somehow still felt a bit rushed, the action happens only in like 2-5% of the book, and that somehow seemed a bit less than what should be the norm for a Biker Romance. But I still enjoyed reading this romance, and I will just might pick up rest of the books in this series, for now I am really curious about their HEA’s! 😉
