2015 has been a good year in reading for – having read more than 375 books this year 😀
So picking favorites for me this year, is going to be really really hard – when I decided upon the criteria of choosing the books for the list! 😀
If there are books, that I will never mind re-reading, then that book definitely goes on this list 😀
Check out my favorites, and Don’t forget to check back on my Facebook page where you’ll have the chance of winning eBooks of one these 6 favorite books of mine in 2015! ❤
Happy Last Day of 2015! 😀

Harrison Healy is a seventeen-year-old boy with a side of depression. Not a seventeen-year-old boy with depression. With his parents dead, his sister gone and a best friend who committed suicide from an overwhelming flood of sadness – he’s doing okay. Now, he’s just stuck with two people who can’t stand the sight of him and five friends who try to make his life a little better.
While stumping through his every day average-depressed-gay-kid-teen-life in his final senior year, he discovers EVAN, a bright-eyed, bright smiled senior who is trapped in the world around him.
Over the course of his final school year, Harry experiences his first love, his first kiss; he finds the stars, loses his mind, very nearly loses himself along the way. He finds out horrific news, he sees what can’t be unseen and he is faced with the challenge of trying to find a way to be okay.
Harrison deals with the loss of everyone he has loved. As he tries to get out of his head and into the real world, he attempts to participate in life instead of watching it fly by.
A book that made me cry loud horrible tears and yet made me love every single part of this book – If you are in love with YA, then this book is one that you definitely can’t and really shouldn’t miss!
Honestly, it’s my life goal to have a physical copy of this book on my bookshelf, preferably signed! 😀

“It’s okay that I might not be your favorite chapter in your book, but I hope that sometimes, maybe you’ll smile when you flip back to the pages I was a part of. I know that I will.”

I’m the guy you love to hate.
In every story in my life, I seem to end up playing the villain—and I’ve got the scars to prove it.
That role works fine for me, because I’m sure as hell not anyone’s hero.
I run my life and my empire with an iron fist—until she knocks my tightly controlled world off its axis.
She’s nobody’s damsel in distress, but I can’t help but want to save her anyway.
I guess we’re about to find out if there’s a hero buried … beneath these scars.
This was my first Bad Boy Hero romance and while I used to shy away from such books in the past, I have to say this book really changed my mind – in a way that means that I still look to find such heroes and I end up usually making them my Book Boyfriends 😉
Check out my review here -This is the 4th Book in the Beneath Series by Meghan March, but can be read as standalone.
Definitely a must read for those romance addicts who love themselves a bit of an angsty yet cocky heroes in their romances 😀
“No one makes it through life without scars. It’s impossible. But they’re not signs of shame; they’re badges of honour showing that you fought and survived. That’s why I’ve never hidden mine, but you’ve never moved on.”
Welcome to the City, London’s most prestigious square mile, where finance reigns and Oliver King is a rising prince.
I used to rule the world.
There might be wolves on Wall Street, but there were crocodiles in Canary Wharf. Some of us craved money. Some of us craved power.
I liked money, and power had its advantages, but what I really wanted was to excel, to surpass the men who came before me. I never cared much for love and romance until I met Alexis.
I could feel it the very moment she walked into the interview, with her outspoken charm and vivacious personality. She cast all the others in shadow, made me laugh when life held no humour. Our friendship should have remained professional, but it wasn’t long before the lines started to blur.
You know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men? Well, I never foresaw where my plans would lead, and only in my darkest hour did I finally see the light…
You can have all the money and prestige in the world and still be the poorest man alive. And love, well, I hate to use a tired old cliché, but love can be the thing that truly sets you free.
You can’t just miss L.H. Cosway for she has the means of actually getting into your head and writing stories you never even knew could be written! You can’t just miss out on this beautiful series and even other works by her!
Check out my review right here – This is the third book in the Hearts series by L. H. Cosway. While this is a standalone novel, it is highly recommended that you read the first two books – Six of Hearts and Hearts of Fire – to understand the Male protagonist in this book – Oliver King (and also, there might be a few spoilers in the review).
Beards, brothers, and bikers! Oh my!
Identical twins Beau and Duane Winston might share the same devastatingly handsome face, but where Beau is outgoing and sociable, Duane is broody and reserved. This is why Jessica James, recent college graduate and perpetual level headed good girl, has been in naïve and unhealthy infatuation with Beau Winston for most of her life.
His friendly smiles make her tongue-tied and weak-kneed, and she’s never been able to move beyond her childhood crush. Whereas Duane and Jessica have always been adversaries. She can’t stand him, and she’s pretty sure he can’t stand the sight of her…
But after a case of mistaken identity, Jessica finds herself in a massive confusion kerfuffle. Jessica James has spent her whole life paralyzed by the fantasy of Beau and her assumptions of Duane’s disdain; therefore she’s unprepared for the reality that is Duane’s insatiable interest, as well as his hot hands and hot mouth and hotter looks. Not helping Jessica’s muddled mind and good girl sensibilities, Duane seems to have gotten himself in trouble with the local biker gang, the Iron Order.
Certainly, Beau’s magic spell is broken. Yet when Jessica finds herself drawn to the man who was always her adversary, now more dangerous than ever, how much of her level-head heart is she willing to risk?Series Description:
Everyone in Green Valley, Tennessee knows that the six bearded Winston brothers have been imbued with an unfair share of charm and charisma… and are prone to mischief.Truth or Beard is book #1 in the Winston Brother’s series. Each book is a standalone, full length (110k words), contemporary romantic comedy novel, and follows the romantic exploits and adventures of one of the six Winston Brothers.
I couldn’t just skip Penny’s Books! How could I? I love her books and her awesomely weird romances that are like the breath of fresh air and I need to read her books like I need air to breathe.
If you haven’t checked her books out, you are definitely missing something, that’s for sure!

Cletus cocked an eyebrow at his older brother, clearly not impressed with Billy’s tone. “You’re not going to tell me you haven’t been salivating for my sausage?”
Corina Marion’s father is dead.
Off to a never-ending war as a Red Cross doctor before Corina was even born, Luther Marion has been a constant but increasingly distant presence in his daughter’s life for sixteen years. Damaged pictures. Short letters. And three brief phone calls received before Corina was old enough to walk.
Now, Luther Marion has returned home at last—as a body in a box to be buried. Corina’s mother is devastated. Her small, backwoods town mourns the loss of its local hero.
And Corina…isn’t sure how she feels about the death of a father she never really met.
But when a mysterious old man confronts Corina at her father’s funeral, she finds herself drawn to his impossible offer: a chance to know the late Luther Marion. And in a moment of uncertainty, Corina makes a choice with consequences she can barely fathom. A choice that sends her to the last place she ever expected to go.
Her father’s hometown. Six hundred miles south.
And twenty-five years in the past.
This was one of the first books I had gotten for review when I was just starting out as a blogger, and it is the one that has by far stayed with me the longest! It isn’t a book about lost loves or finding yourslef, but I loved this book because it is about the relationship between a father and daughter with the daughter’s quest to understand her father – with a bit of time travel thrown in! Perfect combination that honestly made me cry every time I have read it again!
Another book that I am on a quest of actually getting in physical condition and signed, preferably!

“What makes him a hero isn’t that he came here. Isn’t that he’s saved lives here. Isn’t that he will die here, fighting for a good cause.
It’s that he came here knowing there was little he could do but was willing to do that little anyway. Because that little meant saving lives that would otherwise be lost.
Lives no one else was willing to save.”
New York’s Finest
February 14, 2015
LADIES AND GENTS! I have an announcement! You know that guy I featured on my blog a few months ago? The really, really hot Irish rugby player who plays the position of ‘hooker’ in the RLI (Rugby League International)? The one with the questionable fashion choices leading me to ask whether he was the lovechild of a leprechaun and a hobbit? The one with the anger management issues and the body of a gladiator and the face of a movie star? Ronan Fitzpatrick? Yeah, that guy.Well, I have a confession to make…
THE HERMIT
Annie Catrel, social media expert extraordinaire at Davidson & Croft Media and clandestine celebrity blogger, can make anyone shine in the court of public opinion. She is the Socialmedialite, anonymous creator of New York’s Finest and the internet’s darling. Virtual reality is Annie’s forte, but actual reality? Not so much.
THE HOOKER
Ronan Fitzpatrick, aka the best hooker the world of rugby has seen in decades, despises the media—social or otherwise. The press has spun a web of lies depicting him as rugby’s wild and reckless bad boy.
Suspended from his team, Ronan has come to Manhattan to escape the drama, lay low, fly under the radar. Only, Ronan isn’t easy to overlook, and he can’t escape the notice of the Socialmedialite…
THE PLAN
When Ronan is sent to Davidson & Croft Media to reshape his public image, he never expects to cross paths with shy but beautiful Annie, nor does he expect his fierce attraction to her. He couldn’t be happier when her boss suggests pairing them together.
What lengths will Annie take to keep her virtual identity concealed? And what happens when the hooker discovers who the hermit really is?
The Hooker and the Hermit is a collaboration between authors L.H. Cosway and Penny Reid, is a full length 100k word novel, and is a standalone.
Yup, there’s another Penny Reid and L H Cosway novel, but the fact that two of my favorite authors wrote it together should have already told you, that it would be in my favourites list! This is a hialrious book and captures the essence of what Penny and LH Cosway are individually and together!
Definitely should be worth a read, especially if you love quirky romances 😀

“I love him more than my fear, I love him more than my safety and my safety and my peace of mind. I love him more than I value my common sense. I love him more than being anonymous.”
– Annie
“You’re going to force me to grow up, aren’t you Annie? I’m going to have to stop picking fights with all the boys who give you a second look. You’re going to make me mature.”
– Ronan
