Enjoy your visit lovelies 🙂

Raelyn Jennings knows one thing for certain. She loves Damien Heathman with every fiber of her being. A life without him wouldn’t be one worth living.

Damien has never loved a single soul—until Raelyn. She heals the pain that has tainted the deepest part of his heart. She is his everything, his single reason for breathing. Damien’s relentless determination refuses to let anyone or anything stand in his way of being with her.

But soon, Damien’s and Raelyn’s pasts begin to collide with their future in ways they never thought possible, testing their undying love for one another.

Damien’s dark secrets from the scars hidden beneath his tattoos threaten to reveal themselves while Raelyn is faced with impossible decisions that need to be made.

Can Damien convince Raelyn to take a risk in hopes of securing the longevity of their future? Or will Raelyn choose the safe path that also comes with a limit?

There isn’t any time to waste, for the clock never stops ticking.

Disclaimer: This is the second book in  Tattooed Series and it is NOT a standalone. You need to read Tattooed Emotions before reading this book.

See Raelyn and Damien stole every broken (by other books!) pieces of my heart and they took such good care of it, right up till the end of Tattooed Emotions, that I was helpless against them!

Raelyn and Damien went through hell to be together and I had really hoped that they would get their HEA in Tattooed Emotions – when imagine my surprise I realise that it was NOT a standalone book *FML*

Letme just tell you, how much I absolutely hate series – especially continuing series – it usually means I will need to actually wait for a while to get myself some closure and THAT IS JUST NOT COOL!

Tattooed Scars starts off right where TE left off – and just when you think these brilliant but scarred humans would get their HEA, life strikes and it strikes in a major way. Their commitment to each other is tested in ways that could break even a strong couple, but would it break these two?

Raelyn and Damien are perfect together – it is in their thoughts, in their actions but most of all it’s in their love that literally jumps out of the pages and it is heartbreaking to see what they have to go through together just to be happy!

Damien is a rock – and  have no idea how he did. Even after completing this beautiful book – I am still in awe at the kind of strength and compassion he has shown to Raelyn (and honestly, I feel blessed that I have a Damien of my own!).

With this book, we have Damie’s POV as well – a contrast to the earlier book that was fully in Raelyn’s POV. And after salivating for a glimpse into his thoughts, it was a pleasant surprise to find some here.

Raelyn, on the other hand, is a little subdued – not because of what is happening – but because my focus was more on Damien and his thoughts and actions!

The only reason why I am giving this one 4 Stars – is because I do feel that Raelyn and Damien’s story would have been perfect as a duology rather than a triology or even a series. If the author would have stopped with an epilogue then I would have been happy with this duology!

But then again, that’s me and my finicky attitude 😀
