The Day I Got a Year Older Yet None The Wiser ;)

It’s been more than thre weeks, since I turned 24.

I am getting a little older, yet when I look back to my life – all I see scattered around are books, literally and figuratively!

I have realised that I use what I have read – the influence of those written words on my life have been so profound that I cannot even imagine a time that my life wasn’t filled with book!!

Unfortunately, the people in my life aren’t exactly the book crazy enthusiasts that I would like them to be 😀

They are more the mundane/muggles of the bookworld and I couldn’t even love them less for it, because they honestly are awesome!! 😀

Therefore, I do present to you the awesomeness that was my birthday and I also apologize for the ugly mug of mine that you are about to be bombarded with *tehehehe*

The cake, which sadly ended up on my face rather than my stomach 😀

That’s the bangles on my wrist – I am now officially acting like a girl 😀

The only book I received on my birthday – and such a beautiful book it was ❤

But the BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER WAS THE BEAUTIFUL HOGWARTS LETTER THAT I FINALLY RECIEVED – I am 24 Yrs Old and I finally have my Hogwarts Letter!

This was the curtsey of the beautiful yet sarcastic Individual known as the Indian Idiot or as I call him Poodle affectionately 😀

He painstakingly made these himself and they are all the more precious to me. This became the best birthday ever and I highly doubt that the rest would ever measure up!

I am off to Hogwarts bitches 😀

Well that was my birthday! I have to say, when i received the letter – I was squealing and jumping and crying with happiness. All at my work place. Where we interrogate and conduct polygraph examinations of criminal suspects!

Only saving grace – none of those suspects were around. My reputation of being a hardass would have been shot to hell otherwise! 😛

Now I leave you with the picture of my team – a team that has my back and that has my loyalty. These are the people who have laughed with me (and at me as well!) and who have consoled me when a case went wrong! My adult life is richer with you in it ❤
